RAISING ACCESS CRITERIA FOR SOCIAL HOUSING
The Ministry of Construction is taking comments on the draft Decree on the development and management of social housing, which, already relaxed the conditions for residence and income for buyers.
In particular, investors and beneficiaries of social housing support policies receive preferential loans at an interest rate not exceeding 50% of the average lending rate of commercial banks. Have these relaxations been appropriate, in fact, to increase access to social housing? What more solutions are needed to effectively support home buyers as well as investors?

Câu chuyện giá đất vốn đã nóng, nay càng được quan tâm hơn khi dự thảo sửa đổi Luật Đất đai 2024 đưa ra một thay đổi đáng chú ý: dùng bảng giá đất thống nhất để xác định giá cho các cá nhân, doanh nghiệp. Nói nôm na, thay vì để giá đất bám sát biến động thị trường, Nhà nước sẽ “cầm lái” chặt hơn. Nghe qua thấy hợp lý, nhưng không ít người băn khoăn: nếu siết tay lái quá, thị trường sẽ vận hành ra sao?
