The Ministry of Construction is taking comments on the draft Decree on the development and management of social housing, which, already relaxed the conditions for residence and income for buyers.

RAISING ACCESS CRITERIA FOR SOCIAL HOUSING

In particular, investors and beneficiaries of social housing support policies receive preferential loans at an interest rate not exceeding 50% of the average lending rate of commercial banks. Have these relaxations been appropriate, in fact, to increase access to social housing? What more solutions are needed to effectively support home buyers as well as investors?
